Mediterranean Surfaces – Different depths in different weather conditions. Using the macro surface of the sea surface, the film shows a different world of sea under big by the effect of the diffraction and refraction of light passing through the sea. The sound is a replicated RGB video signal – transforming the video signal into the sound track it serves as a modification control of synthesized sound that achieves sound synchronization and pictures.

Tonči Bakotin

 Born in 1973 in Split. He studied sound design at the School of Audio Engineering in Rotterdam and Film and Video at the Art Academy in Split. For a number of years he has worked as a lecturer of music-ton technology (Rotterdam, Singapore, Bangkok, Ljubljana). He composed music for theater and performance within the collective Zidar Betonsky I Fractal Falus Theater. He published electronic music in the United States and France under the auspices of Ruzina Frankulin.
