Pastry-shop worker Verica, and opera singers Brankica and Martin are the protagonists of this story about loneliness and search for love, which takes place before Christmas. An accidental series of events, which include cockroaches, gingerbread cookies, and an opera aria, will entwine their destinies and resolve seemingly unsolvable situations.

Snježana Tribuson

Snježana Tribuson was born on February 8, 1957 in Bjelovar, Croatia. She is a director and writer, known for Sve najbolje (2016), Tri ljubavne priče (2007) and Ne dao Bog većeg zla (2002).  In 1998 she won the Golden Arena for Best Screenplay for the film The Three Men of Melita Žganjer.
