Before the start of the 2017 summer season, the Department Store Istria, the former shopping cente of the city of Pula, closed its doors. Occupying five floors and over eight thousand square meters, the store opened in 1978. Although it managed to survive the economic crisis of 2008, it never saw its 40th birthday.

Born in Pula in 1987, where he finished primary and secondary school. Along with school, his hobbies are photography, football and writing. Matej decides to continue his university education in Zagreb, and after graduation he works at film festivals where he makes new contacts and an invitation to join the work on Televizija Student, which operates within the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. Through years of working on Television, he went through all the film and TV forms. He is the author of numerous award-winning documentaries and films, and currently leads filming and editing exercises for TV journalism students. In addition, he runs his own production company Adria Visio, works as a creative producer in the association PANK from Pula and occasionally as a mentor at film workshops of the Pula Film Factory.
