The End/Land

Made as part of the project that marked the 50th anniversary of the Genre ff (geff) and inspired by its edition ‘Anti-film and New Tendencies in Cinema’, this work uses a computer software for landscape design to explore the concept of anti-film in contemporary context.

Tomislav Šoban

Tomislav Šoban (1981) graduated from the Department of Graphics at Zagreb’s Academy of Fine Arts in 2004. Since 2008 he has been an active member of Kinoklub Zagreb. In 2011 he enrolled in the Academy of Dramatic Art, Department of Film and TV Directing. He is currently student at second year of graduate study. Before the film “Father” Tomislav directed several shorts (Not a raise (2017), How Iva Left on September 16, 2016 (2016), Semifinals (2014) and short experimental videos (The End / Land (2015), The Tiniest (2013)) which are shown at all kind of Film Festivals.
